This is why I thought they might be not related to You. This thinking is for those who "cut without a blade". So it is like with fire. To make fire you need firewood but the element of fire is not "built upon firewood". You can have a firewood without the element of fire and you can have fire without firewood.
Why this matters you might ask. Because it turned out my energies were "too dull" and "too soft" and instead of "sharpening it" I just brute forced my energy channels. You can kill with a blunt weapon if you have excessive strength but you cannot make proper surgery with a blunt scalpel. And at this stage "sharpness" is more important than the tool itself because a really sharp rock might be more useful than a blunt knife. And now I need my "sharp" energies when the magic in the artifact gets separated from the artifact and becomes one with me. You might say the mindwave is the "artifact" at this stage but if you understand it as an "element" it can be used more freely.
