There was a recent "situation" with the remaining vampire group, the drama spilled over and some of them even posted on /x/ in the last month.

TL:DR
Those picked by Gensokyo to remain here because they are forces of nature with enough pathing still to do to benefit themselves and the Earth, were still using magic which merely refers to the ancients. They simply did not know what the magic does. In computer terms it's like using a cloud service and the server goes down, but you never knew where the material was saved, so now you just have your local machine and can't access it and have no idea why. They have witches who are allowed to perform vampire magic and they did it all right, but as it turns out only the Matriarch and the Princess had the entire Atlantean magic library memorized, so when casting spells they were actually asking for help from their subconscious, which was allowed because they were progenitors. This caused vampire society based off of NY to end up in chaos when their protective spells weren't working. "Young" vampires like those of less than ~1000 to 2000 years of age are still subject to spiritual attacks, and they can temporarily be effected, and even become psychotic for the even younger, which is very dangerous when it's a vampire.

I created two things for them which were passed to them via /x/. The telepathy activation sigil and the other one is for creating a local copy of the vampire magic library - it downloads it from the akashic records so you can use it locally. It's not as strong as when referring to the ancients, but at least it works.

After this it stabilized, 3 -4 of the older vamps downloaded it and their witches are channelling from them now so the situation is ok.
