They have rich symbolism aside from the pure functionality, use them as you feel is best.

When I create these they are pure functionality even if this means they need to have rich occult meaning. They all solve some specific problem or serve a need, which means creating them removes some weight off my mind and body.

This is how you should see them, and that's why I keep creating more of them, they're tools for the toolbox. Some of them are like some small add-on for the computer which I install and then never think of, but they do their job in the background.
