I've always done better talking to people of the "fallen" category. Now I'm using MMO/anime speak partially, but it's gone full circle because in Whitechapel, London 1800s, whores were called "fallen women". In the school of magic it's an actual path of practice, which I naturally have an affinity for. Its energy is purple and you can see it if you imagine a cobblestone street ahead of you, so wide you don't notice the sides, and you keep walking slowly downhill towards a far down end at a crossing road. People are all cheering you on and paying you along the way. Then you read the crossing road and stand against a wall and you feel warm inside, but you realize you are at the absolute bottom of everything. Some try to get up again, but now no one support them anymore. It's exactly like any such industry today, people pay the whores to make them whore, but they they are whores so no one wants them.

The real practitioner of this magic is someone who knows this, walk down there and gains experience along the way, knowing that you can only walk this street once. When at the bottom, you then dominate it, create a "pull" towards yourself, until you gather all energy streams moving down, and you end up with the nation following your command like a dog on a leash. But you never leave the Abyss. And that's the point, because you like it there.

I don't know if I would know if I was talking to an actual killer, but that's not the point. I have still a natural "street awareness" when it comes to actual "dangerous areas". I don't like loud delinquents, I actually detest them and if it didn't come with bad attention aimed at me, I'd want to just machine gun them down en masse. WW1 was made for this.

There is this thing with stupid loud locals, they only dare behaving that way in some narrow fraction of the city, and pretend they're kings. But just as if often pointed out, they stay silent at mice if an arab walks by or does something criminal, they would never dare lift a finger.

I've lived in an area where walking outside it was almost 100% arabic spoken, I had to walk like 2 km to hear something else. And it didn't bother me one bit. It was a mess, cars were burned up outside, windows constantly broken by slingshots from people who were never visible but always present, this was almost daily, just like an "environment" outside that was completely untamed. One time in two year I saw a police car slowly crawling along a walking path in the park below, which looked absurd, but that was the only ever contact with law enforcement there, still I felt perfectly safe. These are groups were no one will notice me and that's how I like it. There is zero hostility. People who manage to feel something like that are actively provoking it by behaving like complete idiots and drawing attention towards themselves by yelling and generally "being visible" rather than blending in.
