Do you know any synth pop bands that play exclusively what sounds like Castlevania remixes? I'm seriously hankering here.

Well, had I said the exact same thing except with what sounds like Ducktales remixes, we'd have a gay dozen or so chiptune bloopers to talk about right off the bat. Wherever the fuck it is they came from or are going to.

Yellow Magic Orchestra was a big influence in Video Game Music. I recommend them. The first two albums (Yellow Magic Orchestra and Solid State Survivor) are very video game-like, and definitely worth repeats.
