Yes, it was the 1 year anniversary of setting up our dual server set up, so the certificate we had used to secure communications between them expired. I've created a new certificate with a expiration far in the future. Took me a while to figure out how as it had been a year but eventually got it working.

As a suggestion, I've taken to maintaining a personal wiki for uncommon commands and procedures. Anything that won't sit in the bash_history file to be refreshed more than once a week, say. Saves a lot of time the next time around.

In related news, endchan.xyz should finally be fixed now. It took much longer than usual for Namecheap to unblock the domain, and then I derped and missed the notification that I needed to manually reset the nameservers. The domain should become resolvable as soon as the change propagates to your ISP's DNS server.

yes, I was aware within 5 minutes of it going down but was unable to get a message on the homepage due to some other issues. Also was able to fix until all the money transfers finished.
