There are many branches (scientific fields or scientific disciplines) in science, one of them is the science of religion. Religion is studied/analyzed logically/scientifically.

We are above irrational/traditional/obsolete religions, also we are above/beyond science as we are not limited by it... We are creating our own spiritual path.

'Trust the science' is against how people should think about science, because scientific theories are often revised or even replaced as a normal part of the scientific process.
