The New Orleans Police Department is on the scene of a major incident on Bourbon Street on New Year's Day.
At least 10 people are dead after a vehicle plowed into a group of people.
EMS has transported 30 injured patients to the hospital.
People are advised to stay away from the area.
Multiple EMS units are on the scene, according to NOPD.

The 8th District is currently working a mass casualty incident involving a vehicle that drove into a large crowd on Canal and Bourbon Street.
There are 30 injured patients that have been transported by NOEMS and 10 fatalities.
